Eighth Air Force Story

Originally published in 1978 as part of a series of historical aviation albums, this is a reprinted edition, published to mark the fiftieth anniversary.
The book gives a history of the Eighth Air Force, as well as sections of b&w illustrations by Paul Matt showing fighter and bomber unit markings as displayed on aircraft tails and noses etc. Several tables of data are included giving information on the missions and performance of the units involved.
