Design and development history of the General dynamics F-16.
A modern day lightweight fighter, the original concept produced aeroplanes such as the Spitfire, Messershmitt 109 and Focke-Wulf 190.
The lightweight fighter programme was born in 1972, and, over 35 years later, the F-16 is still in frontline service with many of the world's major air forces. The book is profusely illustrated with black and white photographs, as well as several line drawings and diagrams.
