Goodbye Nice Types

Raff and Anthony Armstrong have delighted such a host of readers with their previous records of Nice Types to be met with in the Royal Air Force, that the demand for a third volume on similar lines was inevitable. At the end of the war most of the Air Force Nice Types were scattered to the four winds of Civvy Street. Fortunately, however, our popular collaborators occasionally came face-to-face with erstwhile Nice Types, from the Station Commander down to the humble but inimitable A.C.2 Plonk, with the result that once again these delightful personalities have become the subjects of Anthony Armstrong's engaging humour and are pictured by Raff with characteristic wit and insight. Significantly, the book is dedicated to "our welcome but tardy Bowler Hats."
