Pictorial History of The Mediterranean Air War 3 Volume Set

Similar in format to other Ian Allan Pictorial Histories, (Royal Air Force, Luftwaffe etc.) contain several pages of text plus significant number of b&w photos in separate section. Volume 1 covers the RAF in the Med. from June 1940 to May 1943. Vol 2 covers the air fighting over Italy as the allies advanced towards Rome. Vol 3 deals with war from the Axis point of view with a photographic emphasis on the Reggia Aeronautica. Very scarce three volume first edition set.
