Hurricanes shot down more Luftwaffe aircraft than all the other defences combined in our 'narrow margin'.
The chapters comprise material by Sydney Camm himself and by men who worked at various times in or for Camm's fighter design team at Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, U.K. Much of this material has not previously been published.
Besides recording pre-war aeronautical history in the words of those who helped make it, the book also surveys the entire 41 years' leadership of Camm at Kingston.
