Volume 6 covers one hundred aircraft of the "Golden Age of Aviation", 1933-1936, ATC certificates #501 through #600. Included are such famous planes as the Monocoupe D-145, Douglas DC-2, Ryan ST, Northrop "Gamma" 2D, Lockheed "Electra" 10-A, Luscombe "Phantom", Cessna C-34, Martin "Clipper", Taylor "Silver Cub" J-2 and many others.
The description of each plane includes history, production data, performance, complete specifications and other technical information. Colorful narratives are woven throughout each chapter telling of many successes, failures, and little-known anecdotes connected with a particular model. Over 300 photographs complement the text, many published for the first time.
