World Aircraft Volume 1 Origins-World War One

The World Aircraft series provides a comprehensive and well-documented history of early aviation. This first volume, Origins-World War One covers over 280 flying machines and aeroplanes; from the extraordinary drawings and ideas of Leonardo da Vinci in the 15th century, to the mechanised fighters of the first world war. Each entry is illustrated in full colour and there is a total of 200 technical drawings and 50 designs of pre-1903 aeroplanes.
