{detailed description}A collection of over 350 historic photographs telling the story of the greatest air battle of World War Two.
The Battle for the Third Reich was the longest and most savagely fought air conflict in history.
Allied forces embarked upon a programme of bombing which would destroy Hitler's Third Reich. Building by building, city by city, Germany was gradually reduced to rubble and ashes.
In the skies over the Third Reich determined and courageous Luftwaffe pilots fought a desperate battle to defend, not only their country, but also their homes and families against ever increasing numbers of bombers.

Cover Painting by Mark Postlethwaite depicts an FW190 of JG1 making a head-on attack against B-17 'Flying Fortresses' of the 91st Bomb Group.
