{detailed description}FIAT (Field Information Agency, Technical) report. One of many such reports made at the end of the Second World War by teams of specialist technicians and scientists on behalf of the Allied powers, this is an interview with Professor Focke and an inspection of the FA223 helicopter.

Being a 12 page type written report, this publication consists of a brief introduction, specifications of the aircraft, an accident at Mont Blanc, an examination of the rotor blades, hub and transmission, controls, engine installation and landing gear. Drawings of rotor blades, root attachment, drive shaft and pitch control/rotor head. Produced for the British Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee by the United States Group Control Council for Germany.
