The book "Fighter Jets" shows the entire international development from the first operational German fighter jets during the Second World War to the latest generation of fighter aircraft of the world. Hundreds of photos, colour photographs and drawings show all operational jet fighters of the world and their fascinating developments and applications. Pieto van Buysen wrote the informative text that highlights especially interesting aspects of development history. Design descriptions and dry lists are deliberately omitted. In the back of the book is an overview with the most important data such as: speed, wingspan etc. The mostly spectacular photos are selected from the archives of Thijs Postma and Pieto van Buysen ... the cream of the crop, and the design and illustrations were provided by Thijs Postma.
