No punches are pulled in making reference to those who endangered their colleagues with low standards of performance and leadership. Descriptions of the many types of operational missions flown, and the hazards faced by inexperienced pilots operating from jungle strips in monsoon weather with no navigation aids, adds colour to what is an authentic story of courage and adventure.
