The first two chapters act as an introduction covering Marine Corps aviation from it's beginnings to the start of World War Two, followed by a chapter-by-chapter narrative account of the War itself. All in all, a comprehensive history of Marine Corps Aviation during the Second World War. Appendices cover awards, casualties, enemy aircraft shot down etc.
